We are still looking for 2-3 youth advocates for swing and graveyard shifts.

The Youth Shelter Advocate will support and mentor youth aged 12-17 in a temporary shelter, providing guidance, life skills training, and peer support.

Responsibilities include meal preparation, cleaning, record keeping, medication administration, transportation, and writing reports, all while ensuring a safe and secure environment for the youth. The role also involves building meaningful relationships with youth and families to help them address homelessness and housing insecurity. The position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact in Douglas County by empowering young people and fostering community development.
