Adopt a family for Christmas.

If you know FARA you know we have a big heart! We always want to help as many families we can. We believe that every family deserves the joy and warmth of Christmas, no matter their circumstances. Each year, we work to bring holiday cheer to our clients who may not otherwise have the opportunity to celebrate. We need YOU to help us help even more families this year!

We’re focusing on internal families within our community. We gather wish lists from each family member and carefully select gifts to make their Christmas morning special. But we need your help to make it all happen!

Some donations we need are:

Food

New Clothes

Toys and Books

Socks and Shoes

Monetary donations for our team to get some specific fun things for each family.

Your donation allows FARA to reach out to struggling families in Douglas County and offer safe, connecting, relevant, and helpful mental health services. We accept donations using the widget below or over the phone at 541-229-0510 and in person at our FARA office located at 505 SE Main St.

Why donate to FARA?

  • A food box for a struggling youth and their family to help them get through the week.

  • A gas card for an OPAC client so they can make it to work and regain their life.

  • Giving struggling parents the tools they need to raise their children through our TIPS program.

  • Being able to provide emergency shelter for a homeless youth until they can find permanent housing.

WHAT YOUR DONATION MEANS TO

FARA AND OUR CLIENTS

  • Assisting in the process of uniting families.

  • Providing employees and volunteers with the proper training they need to better serve our clients.

  • Having the opportunity to take on more therapy clients, as there is a significant need in our community of Roseburg, Oregon

  • Creating safe environments for Children to thrive
